Can LTO really have any mindshare yet? Do you see anything concrete in this respect or is this an assumption More like an assumption than anything else. With the single-reel Ultrium optimized for high capacity and the two-reel Accelis optimized for fast access, and with all those other attributes I mentioned, LTO would seem to be the ideal buidling block for the system designer designing backup systems from the network core to the edge. Like I said, I think the action has moved from the drives to the libraries because that's where effective backward compatibility can be engineered.
