Jay,"Aus, since you have such a good relationship with mgmt, maybe you could suggest that they record their calls. It would certainly help support the stock." I would recommend recording the conference calls, putting them in MP3 format and opening an FTP site for download. ************************************************************************ For Pete's sake, this company may pin its future success to MP3 and you find it used nowhere on the corporate site. This is a bit peculiar to say the least. How can they not embrace the very technology that is the vital link to their next great consumer product, MMC??? ************************************************************************ I would also have a similar site which contains either audio or text files of other meetings (Shareholders' Meetings) and prior emergency c.c.'s such as last year's Toshiba MOUJay, TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT... I have no relationship with management whatsoever. I have spoken to Eli twice. Both times were very brief encounters at the Shareholders' Meeting. I have asked one question at a c.c. in 1998...digression ["Will SanDisk avoid problems with patent infringement with MMC after encoutering the current problems with CF?" -- the answer was that MMC is also an open standard and promoted by the MMCA, so competition is actually encouraged to help bring in second sources.] Recall, MMC is covered by the '987 patent, because it has an intelligent controller and emulates a disk drive. I have never been contacted by anyone except the Public Relations Department who might ask where we found certain articles or who wish to know how The Thread reacted to certain press releases... Also, as everyone knows we have generally been very critical of marketing and advertising here. I have never had any type of contact with this department despite active discussions of strategy and offering the novel marketing ideas The Thread has presented here in our forum. I did meet Nelson Chan and Bo Ericcson at the Shareholders' Meeting very briefly. They seem like very friendly and receptive people who are working under budgetary constraints. Ausdauer
