People can make 60-80% from optical stocks in one week, the Fed's .25 or .5 raise won't dampen the easy-money mentality soon. I don't think the Fed can pop this bubble easily until we see double digit interest rates. It will be difficult to control the inflation when it gets out of cage, so to the greed. The market cap on many optical stocks close to T, WCOM, FON, Q, LVLT.
HWP(in DOW) up 20% in three days, it tells something. we are in the biggest casino and it will continue thriving. Did you see CNBC interview some famous wrestler, singer, NBA and baseball player? I don't see the bubble will burst until CNBC starts to interview taxi driver and janitor on the show.<g> Got easy money on QQQ long calls this week. We might have some minor pullback next week, but the hypermania will continue. This market is the dreamland for the active traders.

Well Gosh!!!

what about wages, business in general, good economic growth, and the flip side to the doom and gloom...

if we smashed some excesses out of the markets, and we are all still standing, then the future looks even brighter...

sure there was alot of paper losses...but the masses stayed the course..as i'm sure you did too..

where else are you going to work and earn and trade...
