You may not see them swapping out of the stocks you currently love, but I predict Q will outperform all of those companies over the next decade.

Have you read "The Gorilla Game" by Geoffrey Moore? What Q is going through now is temporary. Moore strongly advocates a buy and hold strategy. Your trading in and out of stocks creates an unnecessary tax burden. I've looked at the PE's of your stocks. Your holdings are far more susceptible to a decline right now than Q is, and to encourage Q shareholders to switch into these stocks now is questionable advice, especially if the economy is beginning to slow. Q's IPR will prove to be very valuable over time. You'll see.

Just want to make sure I get this straight:

Re: "Over the next 2-3 years, I don't see funds or shareholders swapping out of SDLI, GLW, PMCS, etc. to buy QCOM."

Your statement is absolutely absurd. SDLI, GLW and PMCS are no doubt very fine companies (I own two of the three). But, to suggest that they won't be perceived as overvalued, fall on hard times or be the subject of a FUD campaign and be sold by some mutual fund or individual investor is preposterous.

Re: "Only in 1999 did QCOM play in the major leagues."

You might want to take a look at the charts for SDLI, GLW and PMCS. The same can be said of them.

Re: "BWDIK."

See above.
