Maybe one of the sharper minds here can speak to that. What occurred in the past few short rallies is that the tech funds would buy at a bottom and then wait for the ordinary Joe to buy from them at a higher price. But Joe did not take the bait the previous 3 times. Whether that was because of rate-fear, or because he was margined up to his ears, I don't know. I think volume and maybe transaction size is an indication of whether the public is jumping on the band wagon. Who is our local expert on that ? Or maybe he is out planting grapes today !
