I know a guy in town who is a water well driller. He has those drills all over his yard. Up on posts like little trees.

III do have some core samples from a gold mine in Canada. Sultana gold mine on Sultana Island. Also a chunk of gold bearing ore. The mine closed in 19 and 12. The bricks they used for some buildings were made in St. Louis, Mo. And shipped up. One shaft was only used in winter. It was in 6' of water and was mined when the ice went deeper than that.
