Prophet,

RMBS informed me

RMBS is the company stock. Rambus is the name of the company.

A more gramatically correct statement would be "The person I spoke with at Rambus informed me that RMBS would go up $100 next week."

Scumbria- who couldn't care less about grammar.

It is better to get an injunction from the ITC (I think) than the federal court. I believe that a Preliminary Injunction in federal court may require the posting of a bond by RAMBUS.

I could be wrong on this as I am not a lawyer. Any lawyers out there?

Prophet: <<As for the ITC, injunctive relief is available - in the form of barring import of the infringing product into the US.>>

Yes, but it will likely not appear until late 2001 if ITC rules favorably. That was the point of my long winded post (GG).
