NO MERCY No thanks to power that twists fate meeting judgement that has no balance, the die cast, lurking in shadow's innermind, fortune gears an answer, delivering the blow set in stone to squirming innocence, "NO MERCY!". And with that blow shadows chuckle the good deed done, human frailty exposed. Our weakness to be freed even with smatter's guilt, now pleading charity where none exists: "NO MERCY!". The power fate twists in balance which judges are are own, and 'crossing that line'--- bears light!Yes,to reap thee reward! but not now, not here, non given, no mercy, no merci. ~.~ [Wrote these scant and meager lines after reading a very well written story my friend, my pity extended over your anguish 'cause I've been caught in similar traps set in totally different arenas and far less pristine, but with the same incredulament(not a real word but two) left painting values, respect, deeds in darkened hues.] I use to tie flies, or I thought I did, till I witnessed the actual art performed while all along I did was to wind peacock herl and drab hackle on #14's into a simple caddis wets, but how those ugly little things fooled rainbows and occasional brook. After a while I just let them go. And stopped tying. I still write.
