Pat - Thanks for digging out the old Furukawa posts. I didn't meant to imply that the relationship between JDSU and Furukawa was anything but warm and cordial. It seems much more likely that Furukawa's disinterest in maintaining a JDSU board seat, given their significant JDSU investment, would tend to be an extremely strong vote of confidence in JDSU management. AFIK, Furukawa's optical division is a well-respected, significant player that is in no need of Gabelli's somewhat overblown hype. - peggylynn
