Occasionally I'm asked "Why do you always see the glass as half empty?" as well.

I usually respond with "Why don't you understand the glass is twice as big as it should be?"

That usually puts an end to it.

I agree, but I think an argument can be made that certain High tech industries would benifit from a weak dollar and moderate domestic growth. Thats assuming EUROPE and ASIA stil continue expanding. The trend is there the question is how long until the systamatic global growth slows overall. Then it will be lights out. DO not forget that after 1987 the Japenes and Europeans kept chuging along for 2 years. The US markets also came back and the hard times didnt occur
until 90-93. We may have hit the watershed, but we could easily retest the old highs over the next two years before any calamity. OR not??? Who knows, if you find him let me know!
