Hi ole 49r, You I am sitting here going 49er, duh!!, of course you would be interested in gold. The old 49er gold rushes. Must be the brain fry today from painting my house here in the heat. Thanks for your very detailed post. We live a hop, skip, and a jump from Dahlonega and have eaten at the Smith House there on a couple of occasions. They have several pan for gold setups all over Dahlonega, but it is not for the serious minded, more "touristy". Some day I would love to join you in that cold water on the blazing hot day looking for the yellow money. I could have used the cold water today. Is there any info available on line or other sources where I could research this more? I would appreciate it very much. Again, a very fascinating post. It is a saver along with your Coffee Filter posts. Have a nice evening, Joel
