I betcha - you never bought a house to know what it really takes to buy one. How much do you want to bet? FYI, buyers look for a lot more that just the price and each buyer has his/her own definition of a "decent house." No offense, but the world doesn't accept your definition of decent, much less my friends. It doesn't matter what you or I think, it matters what the Fed thinks. Do you think that the Fed accepts your - or your friends - definition of decent? We may go by median prices - published - if you want to continue this discussion. BTW, you need to relax.
