yeah but. Your companies are a pretty decent proxy for high-quality forward-looking tech, and you post on the boards often enough that you know what they and their confreres are doing at nearly all times. Sure, compared to a CNBC junkie or a TA aficionado who notes whether X is overbought or oversold on an hourly basis, you don't "follow the market." But it's not like you've spent the last couple of years off in Yosemite communing with the bear. My point stands.

Me, I can't stand absorbing all the information and then doing nothing with it. Or rather, I'm generally too immature to accept that doing nothing is in fact doing something, and usually a very good something indeed. I've come to the conclusion that investing--like, say, being a thread leader--is 1/3 brains and 2/3 temperament. The latter is the tougher part...
