Good afternoon Ole 49er and all on the porch: Ted and I began the day today with an early morning walk along a lake area within walking distance with our two dogs. The dogs had their doggie bath yesterday and the poor golden retriever had ten ticks feeding on her!!!! Yuck yuck and more yuck. One was full, and large for a tick, obviously had been feeding for weeks. That dog had to be worked on (on and off) for hours to get all the burrs and ticks off. No fleas: we give our dogs garlic and yeast pills and that insulates them against fleas who obviously hate garlic. Anyone know a "natural" product that ticks hate that the dogs could take?. Anyway the dogs are fine today and enjoyed the walk: it's going to be a hot day and that was the PERFECT time. Now: Oracle: It's getting the axe not because there is anything wrong with Oracle. But: I'm culling my portfolio. The oracle calls are in the IRA. I want some "play" money for the summer rally and I don't believe Oracle has much more than 6 or 8 points in it: it's trading well above its trading channel and almost to it's recent high. Qlgc, on the other hand, has been horribly trashed. I believe it is beginning to rear it's head and say "hi". I do think it has points galore ahead of it for this rally so I'd rather "play" with that, if neither are going to be core, as they are not. Is my reasoning ridiculous or ok, IYO? Freeus Oh I just had the most delicious cookie: deep chocolate covered in dark chocolate, yum yum yum. Back to eating CARFULLY tomorrow.
