Thank you for that, Scott. Yes, the Nez Pierce influence as well as other tribal influences are very much part of the ambiance of this region of God's Country. Quite often I will pan out with the gold, shards of lead bullets from the Indian Wars from around here, buried deep in the highbars on either cre'k bank. Sure takes the mind for a spin, and the snapping twigs take on new meaning behind me. Oh, the things mah mind thinks as I ply my panning craft.
