Modulation schemes are conventions which have been established by at least two parties, those being, the sending and receiving parties. Therefore, the switching patterns which you described, IMO, are modulation schemes if they are understood by both sender and receiver, and if they are meant to pass information parcels, or bits. That last part is debatable, I know.

As for SR, it will be quite interesting to read what the expert witnesses have to say in the litigation which is pending. That one should be very interesting as it unfolds. I hope that Scott sticks to his word (Hi Scott!) and keeps us posted on those developments on the SR thread, and here. I wonder if any of our celebrities or detractors on the thread will be quoted during the proceedings. _g_
