Hi R1,

I posted the FT article on the QCOM news and I imagine
that one can easily argue that if China unicom is going to
stick with their current consortium which includes NOK and ERICY, It's a positive for that technology and for the
companies.

the european group is said to be developing a new technology
that is 20 times quicker than CDMA and if it takes
QCOM unit 2003 to roll out the CDMA 2000-next generation
It could mean losing the title of best of breed
technology.

I'm long all 3 Nok, ERICY and QCOM at the moment,
with ERICY being my newer position just picked up in the
past couple of weeks at 19 and change.

and I thought QCOM was a buy @ 97 last month.....
am I bad -ng-
