Did somebody mention earnings warnings ?

The week had a number of them. And it's still early June. Isn't it amazing what higher energy costs, higher interest rates, and higher labor costs can do to a company's bottom line ?

But I guess the consensus wisdom is that no matter what happens to the rest of American business, the build out of the Internet and wireless and high speed communications infrastructure will still keep on going. Which explains why the NASDAQ has yet to take a breather but the S&P 500 was weak. Not sure how the low volume fits into the picture either.

I played PILT for a couple of points this week. I still own some. I saw MSTR triple and wondered if you traded it. I saw TLCT made a great move too ... but didn't want to take a position on a Friday afternoon. :-(

I'm still waiting for AQCI to close above its 20 day moving average. Same with EVIS. They are sooooo close. Neither of them have done that since early May.

DPPI broke through this week. :-)

Take care,
Chris
