Re: QCOM - told you the chart looked bad. <g> I'll second the put idea (assuming the news is that bad - I'm not a good judge of that; & which Monday were they talking about? Is the QCOM part old news?), though I think the lowest price target for the common would be around 50 at this point.

Poet, While some news agencies are spinning the China news as bad for Qualcomm, I don't think it actually is. Here's a Qualcomm press release that is saying the same thing in a different way. Long term, it probably ends up being a positive for the company: biz.yahoo.com Thanks, Mike

Except that it will prob gap down on the open :( then there's the problem of the VIX and the contracting prems.... still writing up my game plan for tomorrow... will prob be taking lots of profits in the AM... based strictly on TA.... the RSI is pretty high on most of my stocks - VIGN, BRCM....so plan to sell some, write CCs on others will be interesting to see how the fitures open later on I'm just babbling as I'm sure you've recognized <ggggg>

did you happen to notice the letter today did not mention the Dallas seminar ? or did I miss it ? oh and BTW - Dallas is another great restaurant city... you will love it I need to find out which hotel - start planning our night out...LOL

To thread participant; I have been considering starting a thread on "Repair Strategies" for stock and option positions, primarily options as the "repair" vehicle. Do you think that there is enough interest to have a discussion in this area? Regards, Dave
