Tero, on GPRS brain cookers. Perhaps they should come with a warning label saying that " To avoid possible serious health risk this GPRS wireless handset must be kept at least 3 feet away from the human body during operation." I am confident these devices will never reach the consumer market in the United States. Of course, Finland is different---remember the Thalidimide babies--hundreds of human babies born in Europe without arms and legs. Europe tends to roll out these things with less attention to public health considerations.

I am really not sure how US GSM operators like Bell South Mobility will handle this. Like you say, there is no way to DS CDMA without installing GPRS first. There was some work done by VOD and others on placing a CDMA wireless overlay on a GSM terrestrial system. Perhaps that is the answer.

Tero, you just don't get it do you?

"The Chinese are culturally sensitive about taking this kind of chance with people's health"

Yeah, it takes so long when you could just run them over with a tank or execute them, yes China sure cares about their health.
