I still eat them on occasion. Spouse will come home from a prescription run and she'll have a treat once in a while. Perhaps a brick of sugarless bubble gum, perhaps a roll of Necco.

Random memory. When I was in Boston I came by this century-old factory looking building, and there would be these SMELLS coming from it. Usually this licorice-y tang, but sometimes (I walked past on several days) Orange or Brown would perfume the the zephyrous urban air.

You know what the building was?

A teentsy sad part for me is that nowadays I won't eat them. This bums me out considerably. (Horns and hooves in there.)

Did you know that farmers use Blood and Bone Meal to fertilize their veggies? And sometimes Fish Meal. hee hee hee
