I still eat them on occasion. Spouse will come home from a prescription run and she'll have a treat once in a while. Perhaps a brick of sugarless bubble gum, perhaps a roll of Necco. Random memory. When I was in Boston I came by this century-old factory looking building, and there would be these SMELLS coming from it. Usually this licorice-y tang, but sometimes (I walked past on several days) Orange or Brown would perfume the the zephyrous urban air. You know what the building was? New England Confectionery Co!
