Loral's net-in-the sky division has struck a major content deal with CNBC and CNN. You will be able to watch CNBC, chat on SI and trade stocks while flying. Not to mention movies on-demand I'm sure, to do away with the boring pablum we're forced to watch in the air. Of course this will be first class only for awhile but eventually available to all. Plug-ins for your laptops should be available soon as well. For a price of course, half of which will go into Lor's coffers. Also I anticipate a merger with Globalstar into this system. No reason you shouldn't be able to make phonecalls while flying over Siberia. This is indeed the last mile, at least for awhile.
