BR, You're referring to huge corporations with thousands of employees, and boards of directors that see only the bottom line. Those types are as greedy as Bill Gates, and I don't like them anymore than you do. What I was referring to, are the smaller manufacturing, supplying, and service type business, started by, usually one dedicated person, and carried on, quite often, by family members that succeed him/her in the venture. Quite a bit of wealth has been accumulated by such businesses, while all employees have been treated with respect, paid as good, or better, wages as any union worker, been allowed sick leave, pregnancy leave, and many other advantages than are offered in the large corporate entities without any pressure to do so. Your caustic comments are directed at a very few business entities in this country. You have overlooked the thousands of smaller companies that commit none of the offenses you have so diligently listed, and yet, if one of those businesses makes the owner rich, you liberals get all in an uproar about unfair advantages, and damage to the human race. Liberals don't like this sort of free enterprise, because it prevents the liberal elitists from controlling all the people through their governmental dole system. Liberals are, IMO, at least socialists, if not communists, in their faulty reasoning that they, the chosen few, should take all the money from all the people, and then re-distribute it according to their plan, because no one but them have sense enough to make the proper decisions where finances are concerned. Also IMO that is B* S*!!! If you are as liberal as your post seemed to indicate, you can take such opinions, and put them where the sun don't shine!! ~H~
