congrats to the lakers. dr jekyl showed up in the 4th and mr hide snuck over to the blazers. i have seen two teams lose in the worst possible way this year. 1st, miami. up 15 in the garden and lose. up in game 7 and literally fall apart. portland up 16 with 12:10 to play and lose - by a LOT. missed 12 in a row. i think miami against portland would lead to the first infinity game - neither team could win.

Dilbert creator chooses most-creative expense claim Dilbert creator Scott Adams has chosen a winner in a competition to find the most creative expense claim. The award goes to an employee of a Bay Area software house who claimed the cost of two Voodoo Dolls to be used against an industry analyst who he says was antagonistic to the company. Dan Wolff claimed for two voodoo dolls at $70 plus $1 for two sets of coffin nails. One doll was earmarked for the analyst, the other for the analyst's PR minder. The claim was made with the blessing of Wolff's company vice president (cheat - Ed), and was processed successfully, but the dolls were never dispatched. "I expect Dan Wolff to go far in management," said Adams, who was the sole judge of the competition run as a publicity ruse for the online administration service FreeWorks.com. Adams said he was looking for "the more bizzare, the better" particularly "something cruel and unusual", according to the San Francisco Examiner. Other nominations included a claim for hiring an elephant to pull heavy machinery out of mud, and a claim for $2788 to damage to a hotel room after an employee tried to cook a sausage on a can of camping fuel.
