Voltaire's Porch Party Attendees----WE ARE DELIGHTED THAT YOU WILL BE ATTENDING THE PORCH PARTY AND WE WANT THIS TO BE A WEEKEND THAT YOU WILL WANT TO REMEMBER

Registered 40---These 40 Porchers are absolutely the cream of the crop when it comes to Porchers. (I know we are leaving a few cream of the crop to take care of the porch and we look forward to meeting you at teh next event.) We are very please with 1st Event turn out. I would like to thank everyone for sending in their money and making my job so easy. And Yes! I would do it again, especially if I can get the helpers like, Rob, Joel, Polvie, She_x, Bonnus, leggs, Voltaire, Rosie and Piscato. They have made my small efforts a piece of cake.

The Hospitality Room will be located in Villa A: The refreshments and open bar expenses have been paid for from your Registration Fee of $100 per person

A-Villa--This will be our main point of gathering. If you are a Porcher feel free to use this room anytime. Porchers will be staying in 4 separate villas...(each having well appointed guest rooms, and two gathering areas which features fireplaces, televisions, and a convenience kitchen with a full size refrigerator, microwave, and sinks.) all being right next to each other. Rooms were assigned first by how many days they are staying, who sent the check in first and smoking. I think you will find the rooms have been appointed very fairly.

"IF YOU ARE A SMOKER AND HAVE NOT TOLD ME! I NEED TO KNOW"

Hospitality Room: The villa is where cards will be played and lies will be told.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be spent in the Hospitality Room coming and going at your leisure. Enjoy yourself, help yourself to drinks, food, etc. Please do not help yourself to Danish when they are delivered at night those are for our breakfast.

Saturday, Sunday Morning: Continental breakfast in the Hospitality Room (coffee, danish, juice etc.) There should be plenty for the guys/gals before golf Saturday and the men/ladies before shopping or what ever you decide to do for the day. There is a nice pool for lounging around...sounds good to me but I shall join the shoppers for a while also.

As you know I/dealer receive very low wages for cleaning the porch and the same goes for this here party. Hopefully we can make this like a family thang. Hopefully everyone will pitch in and do the following: Clean up after yourself, make drinks, sandwiches, peel fruit, watch the trash, run errands, etc. With 40 people there should be not problem getting the help we need.

1st one that gets up in the morning turns the coffee on, Danish will be delivered the night before.

Hope to have the makings for hot dogs, ham and tuna sandwiches, etc. for lunch and late night snacks.

We will have badges for everyone to wear and will be giving those out Friday night and to others as they arrive.

The Golf 4-somes will be drawn and decided on Friday night in the hospitality room somewhere around 10:00 PM. Be there.

I need for anyone that would like to have something to say on Saturday night at the dinner to PM me ASAP. I want to give everyone an opportunity to speak to the fellow Porchers. About what? You might ask. Suggested subjects might be as follows:

What this board has meant to you, emotionally or financially, etc.

Would you like to thank someone for something they might have done for you. Nothing is OT.

Do you want to give a little advice to the Porchers, maybe a little insight or strategy as to how we can move forward financially or emotionally

Any suggestions as to actions we can take as a group when we are invaded and attack by the likes of clowns.

All I ask is that you try to keep these words within a time frame of 2 to 3 minutes. Special consideration will be given to those that ask for an extended length of time before hand.

Golfers: Please pm you handicap to [elpolvo] as he will be handling the drawing on Friday night. Joel has had something come up unexpectedly and will be returning to the grounds early Saturday for golf tournament.

Thanks to Joel for posting the following: Please print and keep.

Directions to Gold Creek Everyone,
When leaving the Atlanta airport, there are very easy signs directing you to Interstate 85 North (I-85N). Follow this into the south side of Atlanta where it will join up with I-75N and the two will take you through the heart of downtown Atlanta.

On the north side of the city the two interstates will split apart and you want to stay on I-85N toward Greenville. After the split look for the 2nd exit which is State Road 400 North. It is a Toll Road.(50 cents) Besides having Toll Road and Ga 400 on the exit sign, I believe it also has, to Dahlonega on it also.

You will follow Ga 400N straight out to North Georgia. You will pass 17 exits total, (numbered 1 to 17) and then the road becomes a regular highway as opposed to a freeway look. From exit 17 mark your odometer to go exactly 11.5 miles to Hwy 136. A good landmark to look for is the North Georgia Premium Outlets on your left. From the outlets it is 3.5 miles to Hwy 136.

Hwy 136 does not have a stop light so you need to watch your odometer. At Hwy 136 turn left and go 6 miles to a 4 way stop which is the intersection of Hwy 136 and Hwy 9. Go straight through the intersection and the entrance to Gold Creek is one mile on the right.

Please pm me if I can assist you in making this a very pleasant experience.
We only have about 12 more day and we shall all be together.

Looking forward to meeting and getting to know each of you.

With love,
dealer

"prosperous prospecting day" well, Dealer, it's like this...I held a 5 oz nugget today, and a couple of 1 ouncer's, trouble is, they was in another prospector's poke...and that durned prospector just wouldn't stop breathing, no matter how many pans of cold water I throwed at 'im.

Obviously he hasn't heard of my prowess with Coffee Filter Wedgies, or else he mighta just surrendered 'em on first splash.

Nope, just little stuff today...but, it still yellow money, and I'm always grateful on days I don't get skunked! And the other guy's nuggets came from Australia and he was trying to sell me a tour...oh well. Some days are like this!
