TC,

I just ran a backtest on SCH for all the data I have. I used a template with 8e/10s averages on it, for reasons we've already discussed.

You went long with your $10000 on 1/31/92. By 3/18/93 you were up to $11135.96, the best it ever got. By 5/22/96 your last trade (a short) busted you.

My tests are set up to enter at the open the day following a signal, which I think is a bit more realistic. Still, what I think this shows is that we don't have a system for all times. The Holy Grail it ain't. But, we do know this can work on the right stocks at the right time... don't we?

BTW, enjoy your summer. We'll miss you around here, but we'll leave the porch light on. Stay in touch as you can.

Ken
