jim kelley,

Here is a reputable benchmark:

csaresearch.com;

Very reputable indeed their system setup:

Rambus SDRAM
FSB 133 100
memory PC-800 PC-100 (CAS not specified)
HD UDMA/66 UDMA/33

This joke of an outfit called "IT Research Center" is there to mislead, not inform. No wonder they have your respect.

Joe

PS: there is nothing there about ECC

Jim, re: Benchmarks and PC133
The fact that benchmarks are being run with fast PC133 shouldn't be the issue, (I see they also use the fastest RDRAM). The real issue, (and the irony), is the use of the i815 in the comparisons.
IMO, the 815 will be the major competitor to VC820 for the balance of the year. With 815 platforms available starting the end of June, expect to see a number of Intel shoot outs in the press. (815 vs 820).
And if this chip set beats or meets VC820 performance, what happens when DDR finally gets into products?
