Excellent points! The one thing I've found with my EOD systems testing is that all action comes at the end of the signal day. In many cases this is several points above (for longs) the point the signal is actually generated. This can, and very often does, make the difference between a successful trade and a losing one.

When I introduce a few intra-day "peeks" at the market with most of my EOD systems, the results improve immensely. This is why TC's results are so terrific (and any of us trading in his manner). Those middle of the day looks can make a world of difference to a system. It's just that the "peek" isn't always possible for some of us working stiffs.

Anyone testing with signals generated at the close of the signaling bar should know the results would be much better if you could act very near the point where the actual signal takes place. This will nearly always result in better entry, for longs and shorts.
