It is very unlikely that AMD will change the pipeline depth on Mustang. They may focus on IPC, but most of the effort will probably go into increasing MHz.

Of course, I may be completely wrong. It is possible that they put massive resources on the project and increased the pipeline depth, and added some execution units. But I doubt it ;^))

Maybe Kap can tell us....
