At the Intel analyst meeting, they were very up beat about the mobile market. I don't remember if they gave a projection, but I think they said it was growing twice as fast as the desktop market. That's interesting for a couple of reason. One, gross margins are better. Two, there is very little competition in that market. Three, I don't believe (MHO) that it shows up (as well) in the PC growth figures. I would have guessed that AMD had grown market share over the last 2 quarters, Intel claims otherwise. I suspect that a lot of the growth is in notebooks, and because more of them sell mailorder, the numbers are less visable to the data gathering companies. Pure conjecture, but it makes sense to me.

But yes, mobile growth is huge, according to Intel.
