Scumbria, re: <PC800 vs. PC133 benchmarks> I saw that one too. I expect to see numerous benchmarks with PC133 now that chip sets for PIII, Athlon and Thunderbird are coming out in profusion. This week's Computex should be interesting. From the AMD thread, it also appears that Gateway is prepared for a major launch with Thunderbird. (Interpreting the Athlon with "New Performance Enhancing Cache Memory" as Tbird). For example: gateway.com But for the major market share from the top makers, I think the i815 is the real story. A basic platform that spans all the market segments would seem to be enticing. JMHO's
