Ilid66 -- utilities: The utils have been acting irrationally with respect to interest rates for a long time now. They've been flying, up until the last few days, despite the threat of interest-rate increases. They became a defensive play, more than an "interest-rate sensitive" play. . . . The fact that utils are selling off with the other defensive sectors may in fact be taken as a bullish sign for the overall market.

Like you and Lee Kramer, I'm not especially bullish right now -- but this rally has shown some legs, and as a trader you've got to take what the tape gives you. Just be ready to reverse course when the music stops!
