It's an inferior replacement for our (former)Constitutional Republic. We've lucked out for the past 50 years but with our institutional safeguards all severely eroded all it will take is one more Clinton and our grand experiment is in the toilet.

I believe the blessings of the welfare state are mixed at best and overall, deleterious.

JLA, They previous generation was forced to retire at age
65 on SS and Corporate Pensions which might net them $1,000
a month to make way for their children.. Could you accept that??? They are dying in Nursing Homes at an alarming rate...Do you see anything better in your future? White Upper Middle Class America is on its way out of Power, in my humble opinion...
