Zotan, this kind of article is just amazing in it's level of complete misinformation.

Talk to ANY serious Carrier and ask them if their market share for long-distance has disappeared due to Internet Telephony!

My traffic (voice & fax) is going up 50% a year. Yes the per minute rate is going down due to VOICE competition created by new Carriers entering into my market like MCI/WorldCom, Colt, Viatel, etc.etc......but none of these carriers are using Internet Telephony.

So what is happening is that voice rates are going down -- which in turn is driving up the traffic -- resulting in revenue growth.

Internet Telephony? Free long distance? I don't see it and if there was free long-distance I would be out of business -- and I am definitely not out of business!

Don't believe everything you read Zolt......even as much as how you love reading articles to get your superficial level of knowledge.

Cisco And Fox Plan Digital Distribution Of Movie - NYT
Dow Jones Newswires

NEW YORK -- A Hollywood movie will be digitally transmitted Tuesday across the country over the Internet and then digitally projected to a cinema audience, going from Hollywood to a theater in Atlanta without touching film, officials at 20th Century Fox and Cisco Systems said, The New York Times reported Monday.

The companies said the idea is to demonstrate the potential of digital distribution, which many believe will supplant traditional canisters of celluloid.
