the difference between LTB&H and trading Perhaps nowadays, when a stock can be a tenbagger or more in a year, the distinction between the two blurs. You can get into an investment thinking LTBH, but then circumstances lead you to think it's time to bail a lot earlier than anticipated. Call it "accelerated" LTBH. LOL As far as waiting to see what Korea will do, I think we already know. Korea will have a massive buildout of 1x, upgrading their current networks, creating lots of business for QCOM. Whether they use WCDMA or CDMA2000 for new spectrum 3G is less important at this time, but you can bet there will be huge FUD about the selection. I think they have spun the China deal to death. I totally agree! I would add that if Korea goes with W-CDMA, the "huge FUD" will likely pressure the share price. If OTOH the share price holds, then I will feel more confident that the floor has been set in the 60s. In any case, the Korea outcome is the key event I am waiting for as a reentry signal. Sorry if some interpret that perspective as FUD; to me it just seems to be realism!

Gloating is obscene. People who make fun of others who buy quality stock at the wrong time (higher prices) are mean spirited. People who tell us how many shares and how much money they have belong in a snake pit with their other hissing friends. Now back to QCOM.
