Don't forget the most important part- they are topped with chocolate jimmies or snow caps. This and the whip cream are key to the chocolate waffle experience.

We have waffle day, and oatmeal day and omelet day and then Friday- is fresh cinnamon roll day (if I remember to start the over and bake before the kids get up). Otherwise it is "Oh, mommmmmmmmmmm, why did you forget to get up early and make the cinnamon rolls?" day.

Ammo sounds like the perfect son. I'm lucky in that respect as well. Joey, who gets breakfast at 6:15, has decided that the only breakfast he will ever eat is Monterey Jack cheese melted over rye toast, which is a very easy thing to prepare at that hour. Jenny is very finicky about breakfast, but she eats much later, and by that time I'm prepared to deal with it.

I'm not sure what I'll do when she starts grade 1 and goes on the early schedule....
