The point is that generally speaking life expectancy has moved up, and moved up dramatically.> My point is that it would be interesting to see what % of that 25 year increase in life expectancy is due to what we now consider rudimentary improvements in our living standard [plumbing, Salk, hopitals, etc.] vs. the advances of 'modern medicine'.
