Is Newsweek part of the "Controlled Media" or not?

All I want is a simple yes or no.

If yes, then why cite Newsweek as proof that Tripp was going to try to trap Bush in a compromising scenario similar to Clinton?

If no, what makes Newsweek different?

Control of the big network and print media has become too centralized but I think the threat is somewhat offset by the Internet. JLA
