Do you honestly believe that if Canada shifted from a fiat to an entirely gold currency that the Canadian dollars' value would not change? I agree that gold is not the only factor that determines the dollar's value, but will never accept the argument that it has no effect on it at all. If an endless supply of government controlled fiat is the cat's meow as far as the free markets are concerned, then lets go full hog. Bring back the commies with their state run economies.

As for the Swiss franc. Give it time. They've only sold about 20 tonnes so far. It too will return to it's intrinsic value IMHO.
