Putting together something like this between dispirate parties must be phenomenally complex. After watching Sun studder early with Java, as a shareholder, I'm pretty pleased with what's been hammered out with J2EE. Sun's first responsibility is to it's shareholders. IBM, believe it or not, comes after that. --- There is more than one community. There's even more than one ISV community. I don't know that *the ISV sentiment you report is current or even then, prevelant. I wouldn't *think so. JavaOne is this week and according to the positioning which is all coming down not about coding but about BRANDING, I'd say things couldn't be much better. --- Let's watch JavaOne errupt or not errupt into discord this week rudedog, and *then lets revisit all of this. -JCJ
