The article is more valuable now that it was six months ago because the intervening months have proven their call to be correct: Corel was rising on hot air and about to plunge in a big way. They pegged this one on the money: Corel is the johnny-come-lately to all bandwagons and the first one to be crushed out of the market by real technology companies: Video Conferencing, Java, Network Computers and now Linux were all comical disasters for CORL and boons to everybody else who got involved in those markets.

Don't dismiss articles that are several months old when those articles contain forward-looking information. Not that we needed it, but it's another example of the this company's failure to deliver, again. In my opinion, CORL has polluted the Linux community with the seedy stench of throw-away cheeseware. This name-dropping, bandwagon hopping software parasite is the last company Linux needed to be associated with -- just thank your lucky stars the rules prevent me from telling you what I really think.
