LOL!

One problem the Pacers are going to have is that Smits is going to pick up a ton of quick fouls, because he always does and because Shaq is David Stern's marketing tool. The next guy to guard Shaq will be Dale Davis, who was too small to defend Ewing in the previous series. Last time I checked, Shaq was a tad more mobile than Ewing. -g-

Skeeter, Skeeter, Skeeter....you know nothing of NBA playoffs my innocent one. Don't you recall Reggie's 25 point quarter against the Knicks to send the east finals back to NY for game 7 in 1994? With 2 seconds left in game 7 and the Pacers down by 1 point, Rik Smits was hammered under his basket 3 consecutive layup attempts by Ewing and 2 other Knick thugs. Did Smits get the call? NO! NY went on and the Pacers went home. Did MJ ever get called for traveling? NO! NBA refs, I have concluded, are paid very well for insuring that at least one "major market" team gets into the finals.
