You can sign up for free if you want. I will try to paraphrase it so I don't make the lovely folks at Stephens Inc. mad at me.

It is primarily about Aware's VeDSL announcement with ADI. They feel that Aware's approach will be the market leader because of its relationship with ADI which sells to Lucent and Nortel as well as Infineon. They feel like Aware's approach is more cost effective and less complex. Stephens compared Aware's approach to a Toyota Camry and the competitors to a concept car. Aware uses existing infrastructure where competitors have to install gateways and somewhat unproven techniques. Stephens even mentioned a known case where a major carrier is having difficulty implementing the competitions equipment. However, they still only rate Aware as a buy and reiterated their $61 price target. They also mention DR. DSL but say they already have that in their model because it picks up the slack where lower per chip royalties may take place.

I am a little disappointed at the lack of an upgrade. I guess they are still wanting to buy more before Aware explodes. Sign up and read this article. It explains the technology very well. It takes 30 seconds and is free.
