Hi jim kelley; Re 128MB RIMMs for under $400.

The first thing to note is that a 128MB PC600 RIMM has the same bandwidth and capacity as a 128MB PC133 DIMM, which is far, far cheaper. My price quote was from Kingston, and was for PC800 RIMM. Their PC600 is cheaper, though not as cheap as under $400.

The second thing to note is that even though Virtual Channel Memory is also a boutique memory type, it is still far cheaper than RDRAM at $179 each. That's half the price of even PC600 RDRAM.
