LOL- I suspect that, like kitsch, this is a fine line. I wonder how many of THEM wish, in their heart of hearts, they'd thoughts up that baby glamour themselves. And also- as a man- I don't think you can appreciate this the way women do. ALL the women I know (who are mothers- I really don't know childless women) love Anne Geddes. She strikes a deep a resonant chord with us women that is beyond kitsch (imo).

Mr. X doesn't care for her much, though.

There are some commercial photographers whose work rises to the level of art, at least some portion of it. I went to an Avedon exhibit at the Whitney a few years ago, and was quite impressed with the power of his portraiture in gallery scale.......
