A really good place to discuss and get opinions on the pro's and con's of particular Harley products is the motley fool board, www.fool.com. It seems that is all they ever talk about over there. Lars

Greetings Rick, Harley is coming up on their 100th anniversary in 2001, so they'll have tons of publicity - mostly fan generated. The company is one of the 20 most famous on earth (according to 'Selling the Invisible') and simply a great marketing firm. I own the stock in part, just to keep them constantly in front of me - it helps me in my work. The stock is sliding south a little now, the P/E's a little high, but it's a great long-term buy today. Harley is counter-cyclical to many of the 'net stocks, or so it seems to me. It provides a bed-rock for my portfolio and it's performed very well over the 4 years I've owned it. Till later, E
