Slider,

I don't think you need to justify your actions to PP. As I recall, everytime PP surfaces and starts spreading doom and gloom, it has been a perfect contrary indicator. Prediction: big move up tomorrow.

What is this PTEN everyone is exited about. It seems as if all the board's knowledgeable poster are purchasing it's stock. Better check it out.

BTW Broker rip-off story: I was here in my office last Friday and wanted to get in on the buying action. I wouldn't do online trading from work, so I decided to use the touchtone system at Schwab, and plunk down $39.95 for the touchtone trades. $39.95 is my discounted rate for being a "Platinum Signature" member. I put in a few limits, one of which hit - 200 shares of FLC at 21.125. Over the weekend I check my account, and noticed that I was charged $60.52 for the trade. I was very irate, and called the service line. The rep tells be that there is a surcharge for purchases over 100 shares!! What the F*** kind of BS is that. I asked him how much money Schwab has made off of me in the past year, he says something like $3900. I told him I wanted the fee reduced, or I was transferring to another brokerage. He refused, citing that the rates were clearly printed in several places. The problem is that I never conceived that their touchtone rates would be so confiscatory. What BS!!
Does anyone use Fidelity?? What do you think? I am will to pay a little more in commissions for excellent service. I like Fidelity's Palm VII trading feature.

Warren
