Good article, Levy....it points out how everything is "suppose" to be tied together, and exactly how PA plans on using GNET, if they can make it happen by a certain time!

Go2Net plans to build on that foundation and create a starting page for Charter's cable subscribers, who will be accessing the site through high-speed connections. Such connections will allow Digeo and Go2Net to create a site with rich, interactive features including sound and video.

Go2Net, which holds a 19.9 percent stake in Digeo, is getting reimbursed by Vulcan Ventures for any work the company does over its budget on the Digeo interactive site for the first four years, according to SEC documents.

You have been doing some mighty fine investigating work on Go2Net levy. Thanks for all that you are doing.

In this last article from the Puget Sound Business Journal, which was good, one thing I noticed was the absence of any mention of HSAC as a member of the Digeo Partners; even when they referred to there plans for High Speed access.
Did I get caught snoozing and missed HSAC's elimination between Boadband Partners and the now Digeo team?

Meanwhile it looks like GNET and Paul's plans are now linked securely...I hope that is a good thing<grin> and it will be a long awaited great day indeed when we actually see all these PA visions manifest to accelerated earnings and share prices for GNET, CHTR, maybe RCN ...and HSAC?

Keep up the good reporting ,

Puna

Is $30 million all?

Are they missing a zero?? "As much" as $30 million? Sorry, but really, is that all?? For something that has been built up to be such a significant deal?

A lot of professional athletes, even those signed by Paul Allen, make more that that for 3-5 years. Harumph.

"Safa Rashtchy, a stock analyst with U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, ran some preliminary figures and estimates that Go2Net could reap as much as $30 million from the Digeo and Charter partnership due to the increased traffic that the company will be able to sell to advertisers."

What time period? If for each quarter, then great. It just says "from the partnership."
