I am so disappointed in Mr. Moore that four royalty players in the telecom space made it to his list of "gorilla leaders" while the one Gorilla, Qualcomm, didn't. On the other hand, maybe it's good that we see stuff like that inclulding his own contradictions if it helps reinforce the importance of doing our own homework and relying on our research-based convictions.

My take is that GM is clearly a brilliant conceptualizer of models, trends, etc., but is a bit loose about the operationalization of definitions, categorizations, and so forth. I think the division of labor that's been established--he comes up with the ideas, we try and turn them into specific real-time investing recommendations--will continue to make sense...
