It is clear now that the whole matter was a either a giant engineering fiasco for AMD or a hoax. Intel has 80% of
the PC units and they say no DDR for the desktop only RDRAM and SDRAM. But the propaganda machine is
spewing 50% marketshare for DDR.


Intel has no official plans for DDR chipsets but other companies do make chipsets for Intel CPUs.

LOL! You are correct, and I suspect it goes with the territory for commoditized industries. If they only let go of their pride, they would likely move back to high value added bznz, RMBS. Maybe thats the whole point of this PR / marketing blitz ;)
